Marble

This Gallery features different slabs of marble. Marble is a metamorphic stone which has been quarried for thousands of years for building and art. Marble is, for the most part, not recommended for kitchen use. The exceptions for this are white marbles which feature a system of interlocking crystals: Carrera White, Calcatta White and Gold, as well as Georgia White Cherokee. These three white Marbles, when installed with a honed finish and sealed properly, have performed well in kitchens across the country. Most other marble is recommended for rooms other than the kitchen.
